First attempt on gradient

Hey!
I just did my first attempt on gradient nails. I started with one coat of *Essence studio nails anti split nail sealer* followed with one coat of *OPI Natural Nail Base Coat*. I used two coats of *Sephora by OPI A-ha! Moment* as a base color. With a make-up sponge I applied *Essie Turquoise & Caicos*. I finished with one coat of *catrice Quick Dry & High Shine Top Coat*.

Festivalproof

Hey,
It's been a while since the last time I wrote something, really sorry about that ): But here I am, with a fresh and new report about last friday ;)

With a little group we decided to go to the Young Art Festival, it's was absolutely great. Here are some pictures:

The weather was so nice! We were so lucky, 'cause it was the first day of the week with no rain and a lovely bright sun :) On the right you see my friend Janna, she has a really cute blog called Cupcake Cuisine. If you have never seen her blog yet, you should check it out.

A lovely chickenwrap :D It was super delicious.

I'm wearing a cropped see-through top by eksept. Mainstage in the background where Orgel Vreten was about to play.

We had a great time and hopefully we can go again next year. Hope you liked the pictures ;)
Have you ever been to a festival?

Essie!

Long time no spoken!
This school year is almost over, only a Sports Day tomorrow, a trip to Walibi Holland on wednesday, an activities day at school and a school party on thursday and an official ending of the year on friday. Last week I already handed in my study books, so the official summer break feeling is already in my head.
Today I started to do the massive Room Clean Up: sorting everything out, throwing away a lot of old papers from school I won't need anymore and getting rid of dust and other stuff that doesn't belong in my room. I'm making progress, but it's still a mess. :]
To do something else than cleaning up and sorting out I went to the city. I had to buy a present for a friend 'cause it's her birthday tomorrow. When I was walking down the mainstreet I saw the best thing I saw in a few days: Essie!
Now you'll think what's so special about that. Well, I will tell you. Essie has just arrived in Holland and wasn't really available yet. So I quite freaked out in a good way ;) Another thing why it's quite special: other big nail polish brands like OPI and China Glaze are almost not available in Holland. Actually, I have never seen China Glaze in stores in Holland before.
I went inside the drugstore straight to the little treasures. Already a disappointment came up. There were not a lot different colors. Then I saw the price and another disappointment came up: €9.99. I already saw some videos on youtube about essie nail polishes and those prices were around $8, which is about €6.50. I was quite disappointed, but I just had to buy one! So I did :] OPI is still more expensive.
So yeah, my first essie. It's called 'Turquoise & Caicos'. Here are some pics ;)

I must say I love the brush. It applies very easy. I also really love the color! I'm not really sure if I'm going to buy more, because of the price. Maybe when there's a lovely new collection with special colors.

So busy...

First of all I think I have to apologize for my long time absence. So: I'm really, really sorry! Last week was the last week of this school year and we had to make a lot of tests! I promised myself not to go working on my blog or even touch my nail polish. I failed...
It's true I didn't wrote some new posts and stuff, because I really was too busy, but I actually did read new posts of the lovely people I'm following, so I guess I didn't miss that much.
I do have to make one test tomorrow, maths, so I can't stay with you very long, but that's really the last test of this year. I do have to tell you some things about the past few days, 'cause as I said: I actually did some nail art.
Here are some pictures of the last designs I made:

Yesterday I went to the city with my mum, just looking around and having some lunch at a tea room. It was delicious! I also went to this little shop where they sell threads and buttons and everything else you need to knit and make bracelets and so on. I bought three different colors of threads to make friendship bracelets and of course I couldn't leave them for a little while. I already finished one bracelet and I'm currently making another one :) I'm a beginner, so I'm going to make a lot of bracelets, because I really like them. I'm also going to buy some more, different colors to make even more.

In the left corner my finished candy striped friendship bracelet, on the right a chevron friendship bracelet I'm currently working on. On the top of the picture the three different colors of threads I bought. Salmon pink, light blue and white. I love these colors and I think they match perfectly!
Again really sorry for my long absence and I hope you're having a nice weekend!
