I'll Catch Your Dreams, Nail Art

Hey lovelies!
Here's a new nail art design. Well, it's not completely new. Some things I used in this design I'd already made once. The owl for exaple, which I made for the first time here, but in different colours.
The other thing is the hipster-like design, which you can find here. But again with different colours.
The polishes I used:
*essence anti split nail sealer as base coat
*essence colour & go #51 Mellow Yellow
*essence 50's girls reloaded #01 Ahoy!
*KOH #136 Black!
*catrice #480 Miss Piggy Reloaded
*catrice #240 Sold Out For Ever
*catrice #540 Am I Blue Or Green?
*catrice quick dry & high shine top coat

I'm quite proud of this design. What do you think?

Summer Break Is Coming!

Hey!
This post doesn't give a lot of inforamtion or inspiration: I'm just really looking forward to the holidays!
In about three weeks school the summer break will start for me! Jeah! But first I'll need to survive the last tests. I'm really looking forward to it and I've already made a list of things I want to do to get the most out of the biggest holiday of the year.

1. Redecorating my room. Five years ago we moved to the place we're living now. And five years ago I was still a little girl obsessed with colour, I think you know what I mean ;) I still like colours very much, but my room is a little bit over the top. One big coloursplash with blue, green, orange and of course: PINK. I guess I liked it five years ago but now it's really time to change some things ;)

2. Shopping for new school stuff. This is my favorite thing about school: shopping for all new stuff you'll use the next year. But the best feeling is the first week of the new school year: meet all your classmates again, maybe a whole new class, your bag stuffed with all new gear and no homework! That's actually only the first week and maybe less, I guess teachers hate us.

3. Meeting with friends. Going to the beach, catching a movie, girls night? Doesn't matter at all. When your friends are there and the weather is nice you'll definately get that summerfeeling. No school for about six weeks and just partying 'till the sun goes down!

4. Summerjob. Not really something to look foreward to, but the idea of actually having some money in my wallet made me think of this. And at the end you can spend it all again! I'm not going anywhere since my last adventure to America so I'll have plenty of time.

5. RELAX! The most important one ;) No stress about schoolwork you didn't finish and just doing everything slow. Stress comes after the holiday, so I want to be sure I'm all relaxed to to make next schoolyear a big success.

6. Laern something new. This is something I've been thinking about the past few days. I thought it would be really cool to learn to play a new instrument like guitar, but I had no idea where to get one. Maybe I'll just look for a nice difficult song to play on my piano since I'm actually to busy with school.

Juicy Watermelon Nail Art

Hey beautiful blog readers! Here's a new nail art update: sweet, juicy and ready for the summer!

Sephora by OPI: It's Totally Karma
Gosh: #543 Pink Rose

I went shopping yesterday and bought some new stuff. I was actually going into town to buy a new white nail polish, 'cause my old one has become very thick. I came back home with a lot of stuff, everything except a new white nail polish. Also because I couldn't find one.
New q-tips with a flat side and a pointy side. Great for erasing mistakes.
essence anti-split nail sealer.
Some other stuff: catrice top coat, essence rosewood sticks and a white eyeliner.

I also launched a twitter page. Do not hesitate and take a look when you have some time (: (you'll make me really happy when you would follow me!) https://twitter.com/#!/TheDaydreamer00
Are you having a nice weekend?

Going Hipster Nail Art

Hey guys! Did some nail art again ;)
This time with a hipster theme. Hipsters pay attention to detail, so don't be afraid to go over the top! Use different bright colours, balance it with black and white. Triangles work very good. Be creative, use your imagination and more important: make it your own and have fun. Practically nothing can go wrong.

Newspaper Nail Art

Hey lovely readers! I was in the mood for some nail art and a little time ago I saw this newspaper nails and I really liked to try it someday. I saw a lot of videos where people were using alcohol and because I didn't really know I had alcohol I could use, I searched for something easier. I actually found the same technique but with water instead of alcohol. With the water-technique you have to use a newspaper which ink is on waterbase. Some papers use ink on oilbase and with the water-technique the ink will not transfer from the paper to your nails. I really have know idea how you should know that the ink in your newspaper is on waterbase. I quess I was lucky.
What do you need:
- bowl/cup of water
-cotton ball
-newspaper
-base coat
-coloured nail polish (I recommend a light colour)
-top coat

Apply a base coat and a coloured nail polish. I used a white one. Wait until it's completely dry. Cut a little piece out of the newspaper. Place it on one of your nails. Make the cotton ball wet in the bowl/cup of water and press it very hard on the newspaper. Keep on pressing and after a while remove the newspaper gently. Apply a top coat so the ink will not wash off. Now you should have a newspaper nail (: It did work for me, but the ink isn't that dark as I wanted it to be. I guess it works better with alcohol, but water is a nice alternative.
I can't use my camera for a little while, so I got a picture from the internet ;)
