April & May Favorites

June is here!
I couldn't find the time past month to write any posts. There was a lot of traveling going on and sadly enough, school isn't over yet. But of course we're staying positive, only about four weeks left until summerbreak! Excitement overload, I must say. Anyways, since I didn't got the time to write an April favorites, I decided to combine the favorites of April and May together in one monthly favorites post.

MUSIC

For my favorites songs of the months, I've made a brand new list. Some of them I already knew before April, but I started listening to those more this month. I enjoy them more now than when I heard them for the first time.

ACCESSORIES

For accessories I have some brand new pieces I bought over the past month. I have to say they're a little bit over the top and they're probably not everyone's cup of tea. To me, they are really awesome. I've been into the punk/steampunk style lately and these rings all really appealed to me.

I weren't able to capture them all on photo's, but you're probably going to see them in an outfit post coming soon.

PRODUCTS

I tried a couple of products this month which I hadn't tried before and I really like them. It's basically a face-wash from Clearasil and a hydrating creme from Nivea. I really like both products. After using the face-wash a couple of times, I really believe my skin is a lot clearer and blemish-free. The Nivea creme is super hydrating plus, it smells pretty good.

Sunny Sunday

Finally a beautiful day here in the Netherlands. I really hope the weather is going to stay this way.
It was just a perfect example of a lazy sunday.

Monthly Theme: Pastels 1, Ice Cream Anyone?

It's April 5th, and as promised, here's the new challenge. This time a little bit different. Instead of a challenge on one theme we will alternate themes every month! Because of this we can be more creative with every manicure. Every month we will do four manicures in that theme. I'm very excited about the first one, which is pastels. We decided to start with this theme because The Nail Challenge Collaborative is exactly one year old today. The first theme the group ever did was pastels, so that explains the first theme of this challenge. Here we go!

Catrice recently came out with a new limited edition collection which is called Candy Shock. The colors are just perfect for this first challenge! Four pastel colors and caviar beads too. For this manicure I chose two of the colors and used some caviar beads too. It just looks so sweet to me, so subtle, it reminds me of ice cream. March Favorites 2013

It has been a while since my last post. I've been quite busy with school and had some other things on my mind. Anyways, to make an end to the month of march I put together another monthly favorites. This time a little bit more organised than the ones before, I hope at least!

MUSIC
I came across some songs past month which I really liked. Here is a list of my favorite songs of march:

MOVIE
I watched a few movies past month including Skyfall and The Help. Both movies really appealed to me and that's why they're in this month's favorites. A little bit funny though, since I wasn't really into James Bond action movies, but I actually really liked this one. I know I'm a bit late too, but I'm glad I've seen it after all. In my opinion, The Help is a really inspiring movie. I've had already seen it once before and it still doesn't bore me at all!

ACCESORIES
Past month I ordered a pair of heels on ebay, and I have to say I pretty much adore them! Because of the height the heel and platform add to my length, I will not wair these badboys to school or anything like that. But for parties and pictures I believe they're perfect. They are very similar to the original Jeffrey Campbell Lita's, but the ones I bought are way less expensive and the quality isn't probably that well in comparison to the Lita's. Anyways, I love them!

PRODUCTS
Now my favorite products of the month:
~ Moringa Body Mist - The Body Shop
This is actually the first body mist I've ever tried in my whole life. I really like the texture of the product. It feels incredibly light on your skin and it smells nice and fresh. The product lasts a long time too: I used it at least twice to three times a week since the first week of Januari, and the bottle is still pretty full!

~ Daisy Eau So Fresh by Marc Jacobs
I just can't tell enough how much I like this perfume! It smells like fresh flowers and spring, I just can't get enough of it. And the bottle is absolutely cute too! I can't say any bad words about this product.

It is going to be a monthly themed challenge, which means we will have a new theme every month. In each month we will do four manicures in this theme. The first manicure is sceduled on april 5th.
