It has been quite some time since my last post, but I'm back with an easy and fun DIY. To get through the tough, boring days of school, there's nothing wrong with making it a little bit more fun. I collected some notebooks I wanted to decorate and here is what I came up with. These are all very easy to recreate, I just wanted to give some ideas to get the creativity started! To avoid a very long post, I divided it in different parts.
The pocket chalkboard
This one is probably my favorite, and super easy to accomplish. The thing you will need:
~ a notebook (preferably with a hard cover);
~ chalkboard paint + paintbrush;
~ chalk;
~ decorating supplies (optional).
Chalkboard paint is basically paint with a very matt finish. You could probably use matt paint, but the endresult will not be as great as when you'll use official chalkboard paint. The only thing you really have to do is paint the cover of your notebook with the calkboard paint. I suggest you paint the inside of the cover, because the chalk could smudge when other books or notebooks slide against it. Another thing you could do is fold a small envelope where you can store some chalk.
Finally, I decorated the edges with some fabric tape for a clean and neat finish.
Now you can draw silly faces or beautiful *uhuhum* portraits of your absolute favorite teachers! Have fun, be creative and I'll talk to you next time.
Byee!
