Painting a Galaxy | VIDEO
In honor of my 100th post, I decided to do something a little bit different and special. I was feeling relatively artsy and I wanted to make a video of it. This is my first ever video I made, so it's definitely not the best! However, I am planning on making more videos, fashion related as well, so keep an eye out for that (:
Thank you so much for watching and reading! I really hope to improve my filming and editing skills in the future. But then again, everyone has to start somewhere, am I right? :D

Dainty Pink | Nail Art
I was feeling like painting my nails today and I quite liked the outcome. This nail art is really simple, yet dainty. For the base colour I used Catrice #37 'The Effect Maker', which is this gorgeous dusty pink semi-neutral polish. The white detailing on my ring fingers is Sephora by OPI 'A-ha! Moment'. On the rest of my fingers I placed a small silver rhinestone at the bottom of the nails, close to the cuticles.

SUPPRESSED BY JUDGEMENT & A LACK OF MOTIVATION
It's been roughly two months since I uploaded my last post which is in one world unacceptable. Have you ever had the feeling you want to do so many things, but you just can't find the time for it? Well, that's basically what I've been feeling for probably the last year. There are so many things I'd like to do and share. The two things that are holding me back most is time and, yes, myself. I'm not sure where it's coming from, because I definately do have several ideas for new projects, but I just can't get myself to it. Am I not motivated enough to do things I love to do? Because that sound quite silly to me.
I'm writing this just to say that I am actually alive. My finals are over and right now I'm just waiting for the results. And I have to admit, the waiting part is probably the worst. I'm filled with a feeling of nervosity and anxiety since I'm not even sure I did well enough on the exams. This might be another reason for my lack of motivation. Whenever I try to do something, half-way through I'll stop because I'm getting to nervous. The last few weeks I basically haven't been doing anything productive. To be honest I'm at the point now where I'm getting quite annoyed with myself.
I'm slowly getting out of cycle where 1 I would do nothing at all, 2 I would get a great idea and 3 I would put it off because I think I wouldn't have enough time to create it and get back to 1. I started getting interested again in things I haven't done in quite some time and blogging is definitely one of them.
I also came to the realization that it doesn't matter what other people think of you. I've always been quite the type of person who would stay as much on the background as possible to avoid any unwanted attention. When I started this blog I tried to keep it a secret to pretty much everyone I knew. I was really afraid to get judged by something I like to do and, in fact, I still am a little bit to this day. Not necessarily just my blog, but also me personally: I hardly ever post something on facebook, twitter, instagram and all the other social media. I realised it really doesn't matter what other people think of you. It's your life and you should live it as you would like to.
I wasn't planning on making this post this long, but I'd like to thank you if you actually read it this far. It really means a lot to me. If you ever feel suppressed by people around you for doing the things you like, don't be. You have the ability to create so many beautiful things in this world and you shouldn't be held back just because of other's opinions.
Thanks for reading and have a great day!

BornPrettyStore | Review
Hey everyone! It's been a long time and I finally gave myself some time to sit down and write something. A little while ago a company called BornPrettyStore contacted me asking if I would be interested in writing a review for them. "Sure!", I said and not long after that they gave me the opportunity to choose a product to review from a selection they put together for me.
A few days ago I got the package in the mail. On the 27 of February BornPrettyStore told me they would arrange the shipment, so I'm not entirely sure when the product was actually sent to me. The shipping took aproximately a little over one month, which is definitely not that bad considering the company is located in Asia.
I chose to review one of their women’s watches. The watch was really well packed, impossible to brake in the few layers of foam. There is nothing worse than receiving a product being messed up due to poor pakaging and handling. Especially if you had to wait a little bit longer for it to arrive.
The concept of the wrist watch itself is really simple. This particular one doesn't have a clasp or anything like that. Basially you wrap it around your wrist and make a knot. The fun thing about this is the freedom in wairing it. You can tie it just the way you want, so it probably never becomes boring. The floral design on the fabric makes it a lot more bold and fun.
The wristband is made of a really nice fabric. It is pretty soft and it is the right thickness. Because of this it feels comfortable while wairing and it's not going to cut your wrist at any time. The bracelet watch also came with batteries (or one battery) already, which is great. It may seem obvious, but I actually received a watch without a battery once.
So in conclusion there is absolutely nothing negative a can think of this product. The handling and shipping is good and the quality of the watch itself isn't that bad either. The prices on bornprettystore.com are awesome and they have a wide collection raging from phone cases to nail art supplies to jewelry. The link to this specific product is here.
Because the people at BornPrettyStore are really nice people, they gave me this coupon code to share right here so you can get a 10% discount and free shipping on your next purchase.
| Don't you think my freckles just match perfectly with the design? Haha Ignore the scar on the right of the photo though |

ASOS & SHEINSIDE | Clothing Haul
Hey everyone! It's been a looong time, and I have to apologise. I just wasn't feeling well and my grades at school dropped quite a bit, which is something a definitely cannot handle in the most important year of my secondary/high school career. On top of that, I didn't want to fake a personality. I can't stand people with a split personality and I want to keep myself as a friend, haha!
It is going to take a while until I will be completely back on track with everything. I just wanted you to know that I am still alive and I still enjoy blogging :]
Anyway, I normally do not write posts like these, just because to me, they're not that interesting to read and it also looks kinda braggy. I hope you understand that this is of course not my intention at all. This is just a little something to get back into the game for me, sort of a personal training. I really want to make photos of outfits outside, because the background and everything just looks so much better, but the weather is a little bitshit at the moment, so I'll have to wait.

| I really like the print of this shirt. It is kind of tribal-ly and it made me think of summer. |

Fireworks
On New Year's Eve I went outside for a little while to make pictures of the fireworks. At the time I felt like the photo's turmed out not that great, so I left them on my camera. I found them again and now I actually feel like they do look pretty interesting, so I thought I would still share them with you.
I took the photo's with a slow shutter speed to capture as much of the fireworks as possible.

UNLEASH THE PANDA'S!
*Sweater - Urban Outfitters*
*Contrasting faux leather pants - Sheinside*
When I found this sweater at Urban Outfitters I immediately fell in love *<== wow, cliché much*. I know it sounds really cheesy and weird, but honestly I couldn't leave it there. I mean: dancing panda's! No matter what arguments you might have, they're invalid.
*I'm sorry about the blurriness of the photo and the background by the way. There is way too much going on there and it's quite distracting. Unfortunately I will be making pictures here for a little longer, because it is the best option I have at the moment.

2014 Resolutions Calendar
Every year I try to motivate myself with New Year's resolutions. The best way I find to actually keep myself to the resolutions is to write them down, keep track of them and even try to plan them. I made this little calendar to organise your resolutions of whatever you want to accomplish, and for me it really works.
Print this picture twelve times to make your own resolutions calendar.
Every goal you might have, you can easily plan during 2014. I made six rows for you to write down up to six resolutions per month. If this isn't enough, you could modify it with any computer program (it's really not that hard). Just encircle the date you want yourself to do it, whether it's running, blogging, petting kangaroos, just about anything.
I hope you all had a great 2013 and I wish you all the best for 2014!

A Casual Day Unlike The Others
*Sweater - Sheinside*
*Pants - Levi's*
*Shoes - Converse*
*Bag - EastPak*
*Kind of out of focus tho*
This outfit kind of describes me really well. I usually go for comfortable, simple outfits. You could even call me lazy sometimes, although I try to be more creative. I just like the way you could do anything you want in an easy outfit like this one, whether you run, jump or cycle. Here comes a really cliché saying with a slight sarcastic but true meaning (wait, what?) to it, wait for it...: You never know what life might bring you. Pfew! With that said, I'm going to end this post.

TOP TRENDS | WINTER 2013
Winter is approaching and I have been spotting a couple of trends I like for next season. In this post I show you my list I put together of my favorites.
**Just a quick disclaimer: I am not talking about high fashion/catwalk style kinda things. I feel like designer pieces like that are not made for me to wear during the day so I'm just focussing on street style.
*All pictures are from WeHeartIt.com
1. STRIPES
Striped sweaters to be exact. And black and white stripes to be even more exact. Not really sure why I feel like this is something for winter, but stripes can be very versatile. And of course the weather is getting colder and colder, at least in the place where I'm living, and a nice sweater can be very easy and comfortable on those depressing, dark days.
2. CHUNKY NECKLACES
Although the chunky necklaces have been popular for quite some time now, I think it is the perfect accessory to make winter sweaters a little bit more special. One version I have been loving lately is the chunky golden chains. They appear somewhat more subtle than other chunky necklaces, but still give a nice edgy touch to an outfit.
3. THICK WINTER COATS
This one is quite obvious since you want to be warm during winter when you're outside, but I still wanted to incorporate it in this list. Coats I especially have been liking are parkas. I just like the appearance of a somewhat oversized coat.
4. BEANIES
Unfortunately I do not own any, but I really do love the look of a beanie. And they keep your head warm of course, so it might be an essential.
5. FUZZY SOCKS
They're just so comfortable and cute. They can be a little bit too thick for wearing them in shoes, but I still really like them just to wear around the house with a cup of hot chocolate next to the fireplace.

Striped out | OUTFIT
Finally an outfit post again. I was waiting for the weather to clear up so I could take pictures outside, but unfortunately it has been raining a lot. I figured it wasn't going to get any better soon so I searched for other places to take the pictures. Until the weather is going to be a little bit better, I will take pictures inside.

DIY | decorating notebooks #1
Hey!
It has been quite some time since my last post, but I'm back with an easy and fun DIY. To get through the tough, boring days of school, there's nothing wrong with making it a little bit more fun. I collected some notebooks I wanted to decorate and here is what I came up with. These are all very easy to recreate, I just wanted to give some ideas to get the creativity started! To avoid a very long post, I divided it in different parts.
The pocket chalkboard
This one is probably my favorite, and super easy to accomplish. The thing you will need:
~ a notebook (preferably with a hard cover);
~ chalkboard paint + paintbrush;
~ chalk;
~ decorating supplies (optional).
Chalkboard paint is basically paint with a very matt finish. You could probably use matt paint, but the endresult will not be as great as when you'll use official chalkboard paint. The only thing you really have to do is paint the cover of your notebook with the calkboard paint. I suggest you paint the inside of the cover, because the chalk could smudge when other books or notebooks slide against it. Another thing you could do is fold a small envelope where you can store some chalk.
Finally, I decorated the edges with some fabric tape for a clean and neat finish.
Now you can draw silly faces or beautiful *uhuhum* portraits of your absolute favorite teachers! Have fun, be creative and I'll talk to you next time.

It's Mah Birthday!
Hello everyone :)
I haven't posted in quite a long time, due to school and 'fun' things like that. Sorry for that! I just wanted to make a quick post about my birthday which is today! (Oktober 3rd, for those who live in a different time zone).
I didn't really celebrated it today, but I definitely will in the near future. I actually got the presents from my parents way before my birthday. My camera (also partially a present for this Christmas) and a ticket to Vampire Weekend this november, which I'm so excited about!
Here's a little picture of the shirt I wore today (I didn't know what else to say, so I thought I include a picture to dress this post up a bit. I failed lol).
What have you been up to?
